Kado Launches Governance Proposals in Osmosis and Comdex Ecosystems
We’re excited to announce the launch of two new governance proposals in the Osmosis and Comdex ecosystems. Kado is excited about the potential of these governance proposals and their impact for Cosmos DeFi.
With these proposals, we aim to provide users with more opportunities to participate in the Cosmos ecosystem and expand the capabilities, improve the onboarding process, and provide new value for these two blockchain networks.
Osmosis Proposal
The first governance proposal for Osmosis (https://osmosis.zone) is a crucial step towards integrating Fiat ~> X, powered by Osmosis. This will soon allow users to on-ramp to more assets on the Osmosis blockchain, and lays the ground work for fiat onboarding to Cosmos appchains connected to Osmosis via IBC Transfers. Think: buying $STARS directly on Stargaze, or $AXL on Axelar Network, with liquidity sourced directly from the mother herself: Osmosis.
The integration of Fiat ~> X will significantly expand Osmosis’s capabilities and provide users with more opportunities to seamlessly onboard and participate in the Cosmos DeFi ecosystem. This governance proposal allows us to deploy smart contracts on Osmosis and finish testing the integration. Read more in the Osmosis commonwealth post below.

Comdex Proposal
The second governance proposal is for the Comdex blockchain (https://comdex.one) and will enable Kado to provide fiat on/off-ramp services to Comdex users. Kado is committed to expanding Comdex’s DeFi ecosystem and services by allowing users to buy or sell assets on the Comdex blockchain in 150+ countries. We’re excited to partner with the team at Comdex to enable simple onboarding solutions for their blockchain and customers. Read more in the Comdex forum post below.
