Kado announces the launch of its cross-chain Swap feature.
Kado’s new Swap feature allows users to swap tokens, not only on the same chain, but also across different blockchains. For example, you can swap Ethereum to USDC (on the Ethereum blockchain) or even cross-chain swap Ethereum to Axelar-USDC (on the Osmosis blockchain). The best on-ramp experience is now enabling the best cross-chain onboarding experience.
But, how? 💙🔄
Kado is partnering with two on-chain, DeFi primitives who enable dynamic routing and liquidity connectivity: (1) Squid Router and (2) Li.Fi. Squid Router is a liquidity router built on top of Axelar Network, and provides its users with seamless access to cross-chain token swaps, which connects contract calls across various decentralized exchanges / automated market makers (DEX/AMMs). Similarly, although distinctly different, Li.Fi is a decentralized liquidity aggregator that connects users to multiple liquidity pools and cross-chain bridges, enabling users the best prices and lowest fees possible. By enabling the two, Kado enables swaps on more chains, with more tokens, and more liquidity. Kado intends to expand it’s Swap solutions with more cross-chain messaging layers in the future, like Circle’s CCTP, Wormhole, and THORChain.
One of the significant advantages of the Kado Swap feature is that it enables users to execute transactions across multiple blockchains. This is a significant development for the blockchain industry, as previously, it was challenging to swap tokens across different chains. Kado’s Swap feature ensures that users can execute cross-chain swaps efficiently and the lowest gas fees. Kado is launching support for 9 blockchains on day 1:
- Ethereum
- Avalanche
- Arbitrum
- Optimism
- Polygon
- Fantom
- Osmosis
- Kujira
- Juno
What’s different? 🥑
Kado’s Swap feature is more than just easy to use. Users can now buy crypto with Kado, and then swap to any token with Kado immediately after. This feature means that users don’t have to go through the complicated process of buying crypto from one platform, moving it a separate wallet, depositing it into another dApp, and finally swapping to their desired token. Simply connect your wallet, buy crypto, and swap to your end destination: all from a single interface + in as little as 5 minutes.
The Kado team is committed to providing users with a seamless experience for Kado Swap. The team has created a user-friendly interface that provides all the necessary swap details, enables seamless wallet connectivity + transaction signing, and guides the user through the necessary transactions cross-chain (or same chain).
Yours Truly, Developer X
The launch of the Kado Swap feature is a significant development for onboarding cross-chain capital for dApps and web3 builders. Developers can now integrate a single widget to enable accelerated capital consumption directly to their applications. Not only do integrators get fiat onboarding tools, but cross-chain onboarding features alike. Onboard fiat and cross-chain capital to your dApp today. Get started with our documentation 📑.
The ability to execute cross-chain swaps in a simple interface and at the point of on-boarding (or off-boarding) will enable new ways consumers get to or from web3 applications. Kado’s core pillars of access and utility shine bright as they make their first step into an interoperable, fully-enabled cross-chain vision. Kado is leading the way in simplifying crypto transactions, and the Swap feature is a testament to its commitment to this goal.
